Luiza Sonsa's Dancers - June, 2025

On June 21, 2025, while Luísa Sonza was in Boston for the final stop of her “Escândalo Íntimo Tour,” her talented dancers Amanda Araújo and Mariana Maciel visited our salon for hair hydration and eyebrow services. 

With Boston marking the end of their tour, the duo was thrilled to enjoy a moment of self-care and recharge before returning to Brazil. 

It was a pleasure to welcome them and be part of their post-tour wind-down.

Shakira's Crew - May, 2025

On May 28, 2025, we had the honor of welcoming Shakira’s crew to our salon during her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.” They enjoyed a full range of services, including haircuts, nail refills, eyebrow care, facial cleansing, and relaxing massages.

We were especially delighted to host C’iara Alexis, Shakira’s hairstylist for the tour, who visited along with the dancers and expressed genuine interest in getting to know our salon, an honor we truly value. Among the dancers, one is also a performer for Beyoncé, featured in her music videos and a Super Bowl commercial, adding even more prestige to the visit.

Although Shakira’s concert in Boston did not take place this time due to a stage issue, her team spent the entire day with us, enjoying a VIP experience complete with personalized care, appetizers, and cocktails between appointments.

Fábio Porchat - February, 2025

On February 14th, 2025, comedian and actor Fabio Porchat stopped in Boston as part of his “Histórias do Porchat” USA tour. 

Porchat is one of Brazil’s most popular comedians, known for his sharp humor, television shows, and roles in films and theater. 

This tour shared hilarious and insightful stories from his travels around the world, bringing laughter to Brazilian audiences living in the United States. 

During his visit, we had the pleasure of offering him a relaxing massage just before he went on stage.

Luiza Martins & Marcela MC Gowan - December, 2024

On December 1, 2024, we had the privilege of taking part in a very special moment: the final concert of Luiza Martins’ USA Tour 2024. 

Luiza, who first rose to fame as part of the duo Luíza & Maurílio and later established herself as a solo artist and a strong LGBTQIA+ voice in Brazilian "sertanejo" (country), chose us to prepare her for this milestone performance. 

We also had the honor of welcoming her fiancée, Marcela Mc Gowan, a physician, writer, and sexuality educator who became nationally known after Big Brother Brasil 20 and has since built a respected career promoting women’s health and empowerment.

Maiara & Maraísa - October, 2024

On October 7, we had the incredible honor of being hired by the famous Brazilian duo Maiara & Maraisa, one of the leading names in sertanejo music. 

While enjoying their vacation in Orlando, Florida, the sisters hired Marcelo and our team of makeup artists and massage therapists to provide them with hair care and relaxing treatments during their family getaway. 

We were entrusted with taking care of Maiara and their mother, Almira Pereira, preparing them to feel beautiful and refreshed before heading out to enjoy the magic of Disney’s parks. 

Even though Maraisa couldn’t do anything with her hair due to a recent surgery, we felt truly grateful for the trust they placed in us and honored to care for them and their family during such a special moment.

Anitta's Ballet - May 2024

On May 27, 2024, we had the immense honor of welcoming Anitta’s dancers to our salon during her Baile Funk Experience Tour in Boston. Her entire team visited a day before the concert to relax and indulge in a VIP experience, enjoying hair care, haircuts, massages, nails, and facial treatments.

It was a privilege to host such a talented and high-profile group, especially amid the demanding schedule of Anitta’s first international world tour. 

Many of these dancers have also performed with global stars including Karol G, Mariah Carey, Dennis DJ, Kevin O Chris, and more, making them among Brazil’s most renowned dancers and choreographers.

Their visit was a true celebration of artistry and excellence, and we were proud to provide a moment of care and rejuvenation for this extraordinary team.

Throwback Artists

When Marcelo first arrived in the United States, he started working at a beauty salon in his very first week. He quickly became well-known within the Brazilian community, and soon concert producers and event organizers began inviting him to style artists touring in Boston.

This journey began over 12 years ago. At that time, Marcelo also offered makeup services, making him a go-to professional for both male and female performers. Even though busy schedules often left little time for photos, he always felt honored whenever an artist trusted his work. Over the years, he styled renowned names such as Marília Mendonça, Simone & Simaria, Marcos & Belutti, Daniel, the band Skank, and many others.

These experiences motivated Marcelo to seek greater visibility for his craft. With dedication and hard work, he went on to become recognized as the celebrity hairstylist of Boston.
